Step 1: Sign into your account

Step 2: Verify Your Tracked Airports

Step 3: Install The Flight Expert App

Click the “Install” button in the banner at the top of the page or the “Install App” link below to install Airport Alert Notifications from The Flight Expert as an app on your home screen. This step is recommended for Android subscribers and required for iPhone subscribers.

Step 4: Activate Notifications

Click the bell icon in the bottom left corner and select “Allow” or “Subscribe” when prompted.

Final Checklist: Are your alerts ready?

Before you head to the gate, run through this 15-second check to ensure your phone will receive notifications for airport delays and disruptions:

• No Address Bar: Does the top of your screen show a website URL (theflightexpert.com)?
  • If YES: You are still in the browser. Close it and open the “Flight Expert” icon on your home screen.
• Home Screen Icon: Do you see the “Flight Expert” logo among your other phone apps?
• The Subscription Bell: Inside the app, is there a bell icon in the bottom corner?
• Phone Settings: Is your phone’s “Do Not Disturb” or “Silent” mode off? (Standard push notifications respect your phone’s ringer settings).
