Nonstop, round-trip flights from Boston, Massachusetts (BOS) to Madrid, Spain (MAD) for $565 / $595 on Iberia. The fare is Basic Economy and includes only a carry-on bag. You can add a checked bag for $65 each way.
If you prefer, you can also upgrade to an Optimal Economy fare for an additional $200. An Optimal Economy ticket also includes one checked bag, free ticket changes, and free seat selection at check-in. If you prefer this fare type, booking instructions are below.

At time of publication, the fare was available on limited dates in February and March, with somewhat wider availability in September, October, and November 2025.
Use the sample dates below as a guide. Try searching with a trip length of 9 days for best results.
Iberia’s flight results have tabs along the top that show prices for different dates. Use them to see quickly flights on adjacent dates.
- Select BOS as the departure airport and MAD as the destination.
- Select a departure date within the sale window noted above.
- In the calendar, tick the “My dates are flexible” check box.
- Select a return date 9 days later. You can adjust this in the next step.
- Use the tabs above the flight search results to find the best combination of price and dates for your trip.
- Search for flights departing on Sundays through Wednesdays (especially Mondays).
- Look for direct outbound fares priced at $261.
- Combine with a direct return fare priced at $305 or $330.
- Choose the fare type you prefer (“Basic”, “Optimal”, “Comfort”).
- Scroll down and click the “Select your return flight” button.
- Use the price / date tabs to find your return flight.
- Select your preferred fare type.
- Scroll down, click the “Enter passenger details” button and follow the instructions to complete your booking.
