This IHG Offer Has 2 Tracks. How to Choose the Best Option for You
Earn up to 8,000 bonus points during the IHG One Rewards Pick Your Points promotion, valid for stays through August 31, 2026. This offer allows you to choose either from two bonus point tiers, based on the length of your stay. You can also stack it with any ongoing sales, as we’ll explain below.
The promotion is valid at participating IHG properties worldwide, including brands like InterContinental, Kimpton, Hotel Indigo, Crowne Plaza, and Holiday Inn. Stays must be paid 100% in cash and have a nightly rate of $30 or more. Reservations paid with points or cash + points don’t count as qualifying nights.
The Two Options at a Glance
You can only register for one offer or the other. Each track allows you to earn unlimited bonus points (you can use the offer unlimited times within the promotional period).
Qualifying nights don’t have to be consecutive. For example, you can book 4 different one-night stays or 2 two-night stays within the offer window to meet the minimum threshold for the 8k offer. If you’re sure you’ll stay at least 4 nights in any combination before August 31, you should register for the 8,000 points offer.
Once you register, each time you complete a 2- or 4-night stay, you’ll automatically be credited the corresponding number of bonus points. The promotion is valid for stays through August 31, 2026.

- Why: The 8K track pays out at double the rate per night (2,000 points/night vs. 1,000 points/night).
Crucial Terms & Registration Rules
- Must Register BEFORE Staying: Stays completed prior to registration will not count, even if they fell within the May 20 – August 31 stay window. Register before checking in.
- Selection Is Final: Once you pick Choice One or Choice Two, you cannot switch to the other track later in the promotion.
- Qualifying Rates Only: The stay must be a paid cash stay booked directly with IHG (or through an authorized corporate travel channel) with a total room rate exceeding $30 USD per night.
- Exclusions Apply: Pure Reward Nights (points redemptions), Points & Cash bookings, and reservations made through third-party Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) like Expedia or Booking.com do not qualify.
- One Room Per Member: If you book multiple rooms on the same night, only one room counts toward your night totals.
