Veterans Advantage is a discount program for active duty personnel, veterans, retired military personnel, or their family members. Founded in 2000, Veterans Advantage offers military discounts and benefits on travel and other services from hundreds of major retailers. Veterans Advantage car rental discounts range from 5% to 25% off regular rates.
The cost to join Veterans Advantage is $9.99 per month or $59.95 per year. Thirty-day trial plans are $4.95.
- Alamo’s Veterans Advantage discount is up to 20% off regular rental rates.
- Avis and Budget offer Veterans Advantage members discounts of up to 25% off regular rates. For Avis, use AWD number T765700. For Budget, use BCD code X612500.
- Dollar gives Veterans Advantage members 5% off regular rates plus a free underage driver (18-25 years).
- Enterprise and Thrifty offer Veterans Advantage members a discount of 5% or more.
- Hertz and Sixt give Veterans Advantage members a 10% discount on regular rental rates.
- National’s discount allows Veterans Advantage members to save up to 20%.
