An AAA membership is handy if you need a tire change or jump start, and it’s also a great way to get discounts on restaurants, shopping, travel, and more. In addition to roadside service, AAA offers benefits like discounted rates on a wide variety of hotel types and brands.
Which hotel has the best AAA discount depends on what travelers want from their stay. Are they looking at budget hotels, mid-range hotels, or luxury hotels? Are they loyal to a particular brand? What hotels are available in the desired destination? All of these can be factors when deciding whether a hotel discount is a good deal or not.
AAA rates and discounts are available at more than 100 hotel brands, listed below. Most of the major hotel brands offer AAA discounts in the 10% range.
At up to 15% off best available rates, Best Western offers the largest advertised AAA discount. If you join Best Western’s special rewards program for AAA members, you also get instant Gold status which earns 10% bonus points per stay.
