From now through May 31, United Airlines MileagePlus is offering up to 85% bonus miles when you buy or gift miles online. The offer allows members to purchase up to the annual maximum of 175,000 miles. Bonus miles count toward the annual limit.
- Here’s the bonus ranges and amounts:
- Buy 5,000 – 14,000 miles and earn 25% bonus miles
- Buy 15,000 – 34,000 miles and earn 50% bonus miles
- Buy 35,000 – 94,500 miles and earn 85% bonus miles
- And here are some important details:
- The offer ends May 31, 2023
- Purchased and bonus miles don’t count toward elite status
- MileagePlus accounts less than 10 days old aren’t allowed to purchase or receive miles
- To gift miles, you’ll need the recipient’s MileagePlus number
How to get your bonus miles
- Visit the offer detail page and select either “Buy miles for yourself” or “Buy miles for another member”.
- On the following screen, log into your MileagePlus account.
- Select the desired number of miles and bonus miles.
- Follow the instructions to complete the purchase.
